We’ve been reading lots of scary books in the library and in your classrooms. What are your favorites? Did you like the ones with a surprise ending like Annie Was Warned and ADark Tale?
I haven’t read either of these books. They sound really interesting. I would like to read them. Maybe some of the students who have already read the books will review them for me and help me decide which one to read first.
My favorite books to read are magic tree house research guide. MY favorite book right now is pilgrims it tells about how you live and what they did and about the MAYFLOWER. I just love this book I’m am reading. It is AWESOME.
I never read a scary book in my whole life. But I do have something that im scared of (Please dont make me have nightmares about this, it really scares me). VAMPIRES!! I cannot stand the name VAMPIRE cause its just freaky! I had a nightmare about one once. I can’t talk about it cause it may give me another nightmare, and it is too scary to look at!
I have this really scary character I would like to tell you about. His name is Jason he ‘s this killer. When he was a kid he was kind of a nerdy kid. So then these kids pushed him in a lake. The kids didn’t know he couldn’t swim. The devil sent him back to get revenge on the kids. But when he came back he realized that the kids were grown up. So he go’s haywire and starts killing people for no reason.
My favorite spooky book is The Lightning Thief. I like it because it has lots of twists, turns and information about mythology. My favorite part is when Percy destroys the Minotaur. This story would be really scary if told on a camping trip.
I really dont have a favorite scary book, but I have some favorite scary charachters. I get freaked out by the Darth Mauls face.(When I was small ) I also get terrefied of Chucky too. I dont get scared by Chewbacca, but he does looks freaky. Thats what I am freaked out about.
My favorite scary story series is Goosebumps by R.L. Stine One of my favorite books by R.L. Stine is Night of the Living Dummy. I like Night of the Living Dummy because R.L. Stine puts alot of scary details in the book wich helps me picture a seen in the book, and sometimes when I’m reading I get goosbumps myself. I usually like reading scary books in my room with every light off except my lamp.
The scariest book I’ve read is Scary Storys. It freaks me out! In one story a dead guy thats not dead comes out of a chimney! When I read this story I stay in my room and I don’t go watch TV because it’s right by the chimney. The best way to get a good scare out of this book is to read it alone at night. When I do, I get scared!
The scariest book I’ve ever read was “The Babysitter”. What happens is there are kids and a baby sitter and all of the sudden the phone rings and someone says that they they are close. That person keeps calling and each time they say they are getting closer. The last time he called he said he was right up stairs. The babysitter told the kids to hide and she called the police. The police came and arrested the man. The scariest time that I read that book was when I was in bed with a flash light and it was super quiet. Scary stories are creepy and even though we get freaked out it is a good kind of feeling. When I get scared I just hide under the blankets.

The book that scares me is one of the Goose Bumps book, because it is about a dummy that comes to life. It scares me beause the dummy tries to take over the familiy and torture them. Even though it isn’t real, I think it is going to get me at night. I always make sure that the door is locked and I close my closet door so that it doesn’t get me. When I turn off my light at night I run to my bed because I think it will grab my feet and drag me under the bed.
The scariest book I’ve ever read is called Scary Stories. This book is terrifing because the whole book has nothing but horrific stories in it esspecilly the one called The Dream. The best time to read this book is at night when everyone else is asleep in there bed at midnight with nothing but a flashlight. After I read it at night I check every place a monster might came out and eat me.
My favortie scary book is Stephen King’s Attack of the Clowns. Well I don’t really know if that is a book, but I do know it is a movie. The reason it is my favorite scariest book is because they make the clowns all scary and violent. The book does not make me afraid of clowns. I just really dislike them. What I dislike about them is that they try to make you laugh. It never works on me it just makes me angrier than I already am when I see them. Soon clowns will learn that they should not mess with me.
I have a favorite series of books they are called Goosebumps by R.L Stine. My favorite one is The Horror At Camp JellyJam. After I read that book, everytime I opened my closet door I would be afraid that the monster would grab me.
The scariest book in the universe that I know of is called “Being Dead”. It is a book about I think 8 different ghost stories and each ghost tells you how they died. It is heart-breaking, because they tell that sometimes they were between the ages of 8 and 12 and they were murdered! Although, sometimes they were killed by accident. Also it was upsetting because the child’s parents were noteifeid that thier own child is dead.
